I bought a 2004 Nissan Titan from this dealership back in May of 2009. I have paid my bill ON-TIME for 4 years now. On Monday, May 27th, I went to CarMax to sell my vehicle to them as I knew I was no longer upside down on my loan. CarMax faxed over a Pay-off amount form to Kal Motors. After several hours of no response CarMax called kal Motors and spoke to a woman named Norma. Norma said they could not find the paperwork today, but to try again with them tomorrow and they should be able to locate it. This was a major inconvenience for me! The next day I call CarMax to see if they received the form back to which they say they have not. I call Kal Motors and speak with a woman named Consuela and Norma again and they both say they are going to send the form over shortly. At this point I figure it's going to take them a couple hours, because they are slow, so I go to work in my other vehicle that I own. When I come back home after work (6pm) my truck is missing from the front of my house! I call the police and they say that Kal Motors has repossessed my truck from me! I HAVE NEVER BEEN LATE OR MISSED ANY PAYMENTS! I have check receipts to prove all of this. I have put in a call with the California State Attorney General and the Department of Motor Vehicles Board. I am 73 years old and this is just a disgrace that a business would conduct itself in this manner in this country. Customers are protected by laws so hopefully I can get justice served on these crooks!
