I Would not recommend mandy management *****Renters Beware***** Mandy Management is a poorly ran company that does not take care of its tenants. At 1523 Chapel Street the elevator has been out of order for almost 2 months. Their only concern is taking our money and showing no concern for the elderly and handicap that live in this building. They have made no head way on getting it fixed. They say that they are waiting for a part. Where could this part be coming from that it takes 2 months to get here? As old as that elevator is maybe they should put in a new one it’s not as if they don’t make enough money off of us to replace it. Mandy Management says that they are #1 for apartment rentals in new haven, they should be known as the #1 slum lord in new haven.

It took Mandy YEARS to evict a crack addicted, prostitute who banged on everyone's door at 2am! I could not get out of that apartment fast enough. My apartment flooded, the mice acted like they paid more rent than I did. Thank God I had a washer and dryer, the one in the laundry room made clothes dirtier.

Manahem "Mandy" Edelkopf is by far the worst property manager that New Haven has. Him alongside his team of inconsiderate and money hungry leasing staff/agents. The majority of his maintenance staff all appear to be low budget, backyard handy men; they are the least bit up to code and/or licensed. Hello MECHANICS LIENS! I will say this as a FACT; some of his properties that are placed in more decent areas- his meaning, Manachem Gurevich- they take pride in those properties. They clearly show discrimination when it comes to leasing out their units. They will literally toss you the apartment that looks "clean" before moving- not mentioning the leaks that wil start under the kitchen sink, the toilets that stop working after a good 2 months, and if I were to continue; need I point out the POOR INSULATION that ruins the idea of having HEAT- but of course when rent is due and you're even a day late-(203) 996-2828 pops across your phone, the same number that you can call during non-rent time with no success or if he does answer; it's always quick without ever being able to finish your thought. To jump back to my point, one with indecent credit whose showing effort to reestablish their life, "Section 8" approves a 4bd single family home in a not so good end of high crime, drugs and prostitution for $1800 but denies a pretty decent area, on the outskirts of crime but quiet and centrally located 4br 2nd fl apt for $1600- something's wrong with that picture- DISCRIMINATION AT ITS FINEST
