There is no other way to put this: C and J is TERRIBLE. They don't even teach proper driving skills for the road test! My first (and only) behind the wheel lesson was awful and full of incorrect teachings. There were certain things that I remembered learning in my online courses that I tried to do and I was verbally shamed for doing them. I wasn't allowed to ever look at my rearview mirror (unless I was making a right turn), I couldn't look both ways more than once, I was scolded for slowing down when I was on an exit ramp instead of on the 70 mph highway (not even safe) and more. Within the first 10 min of my "lesson," the instructor was on a 10-15 min phone call instead of teaching me. Keep in mind, he was getting paid by the hour. No extra time was given at the end. Half of the time was spent with him complaining about the laziness of my generation and politics. Huge waste of money. Do the smart thing and go with Reis Driving School. I switched to them and told them what I was taught with C&J. Their jaws hit the floor and they showed me how to ACTUALLY drive. They corrected everything C&J taught me and helped me pass my driving test.
