Bryson Machinery Movers & Riggers on US 321 South is flying a piece of a US flag. It is badly tattered and has been like this for several months and it is getting worse. I stopped there on November 8 and attempted to take the tattered flag down myself only to find that the hoist was broken. I spoke with Mr. Bryson and asked him to please remove the tattered flag which he said he would do, but as of November 14, has not done. I can't imagine that Mr. Bryson is a US military veteran or he surely wouldn't allow a symbol of this country to fly in such condition. As a US vet I feel that allowing a flag to fly in this condition an insult to every veteran who fought for or died for Mr. Bryson's right to fly the US flag. He should be embarrassed as this reflects poorly on his business, the people who work for him, and himself. I urge anyone who knows Mr. Bryson to ask him to remove this tattered flag as soon as possible. It's not like he doesn't have the equipment to do the task.
