DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS TO BYERS ANIMAL VET CLINIC! WE HAD A FREE NEUTER/SPAY FLYER THEY PASSED OUT AND THERE'S A REASON THEY NEED TO DISTRIBUTE FLYERS FOR SERVICES FOR FREE.... THEY SUCK. Our dog is at another vet clinic over a neuter procedure that they didn't finish! They didn't clip the veins in the scrotum sack/shaft! He went in Monday,hubby went down to check on him Wednesday,(should've been home by now) his scrotum sack was a size of grapefruits in it! They claimed he must have a clotting disorder. Left him there for observation,Thursday they said that he should go home tomorrow (Friday) because he isn't happy there. so we went down to pick him up,his scrotum sack was still extremely swollen,and leaking blood.... from somewhere else,not the suture site. Byers vet said bring him back on Monday so they can check on him. BUT I Took him directly to our local vet,they were STARTLED by the condition he was in! They said right after we walked in "he needs emergency surgery he's going to die." Surgery took 4.5 hours,they removed the scrotum sack,said he had a lot of dead and dying tissue,that the previous vet didn't clip off the important veins in the scrotum sack. Now its a waiting game to see if our dog is going to live,the vet isn't very optimistic,"thinks" he will pull through. His white cell count was over 26k and should be under 12k. He's got a high fever and attempting to fight off a massive infection. Hubby signed the typical waiver paper you do when signing for surg
