We raise, show, and sell bulls, cows, steers, and heifers. Our family farm also grows corn, soybeans, and wheat. We are an average farm family living in the middle of the mid-west. We have always fed out a few steers each year. When the kids became old enough to show, we started looking for heifers. What started out as 4-H projects blossomed into a 50 head cow herd. With the need of more pasture, we converted some tillable acres into grass and clover. Now we sell bred cows, bulls, steers, and heifers. The kids have improved in their showmanship and have been in livestock judging for a number of years. They prefer the state and national shows to the county fairs. So we will apply more of our efforts in that direction.
