I have recently been dealing with severe joint and muscle pain. Getting worse, I called my favorite thrift store to see if they might have a cane I could buy to help me avoid falling and especially getting out of bed in the morning, which has become very difficult. They said yes they had one. When I arrived I mentioned that I had called, a kind woman went to the back and returned with the cane. I was asked to sign my name and was told this was a service to me and there would be no charge for the cane. I was asked to return it to the store when the time came that I didn't need it anymore. There are far too few occasions in life where this kind of generosity and kindness are demonstrated. My heart was filled with a loving appreciation to those who work so lovingly to assist those in need. Thank you so much for the kindness. I will forever hold you guys in my heart with thanks and good wishes.
