The Tarberts, Bob (father) and Troy (son), are tops in water drilling, not just in the Davenport area - they're drillers of choice for all of Lincoln County and beyond. They have over 75 yrs in the business. Both are warm, friendly, with absolute honesty and integrity. Troy, now the manager and main operator, has over 25 years in the business, but he's not afraid to call on his dad, drawing on Bob's wisdom, knowledge, and long experience. Troy is often out of cell-phone service, so his mom Patty acts as company contact and receptionist, and she's as wonderful as Bob and Troy. Troy dug my well last year, had to go down 340 feet to strike a good source, but wouldn't give up. One year later there was an obstruction, Troy pulled the pipe/wire/pump (not normally the driller's job), pulled the liner, and re-drilled as needed, freeing up the water flow...and he virtually did it for free, charging me only for his assistant's time, the gas to bring his equipment back, and the cost of repairing 17 sections of 4-inch plastic liner (he'd had to saw them apart). This repeat effort took a day and a half, in essence a full second drilling operation. All for free. He didn't do anything wrong the first time around, but he felt an obligation and a commitment to get me good water, and he did it on his dime. That is old-school foursquare integrity. Troy and his entire family are absolutely ACES ! ! ...I simply can't praise them enough, and I am really proud to call them my friends.
