We signed the contract in February and requested a spring start which was agreed by Harvey Franklin. When spring arrived months of excuses began, explaining to us that the materials are in the warehouse, as soon as the rainy weather clears up they can start. Now in June Harvey asked us to change the color of the siding due to it no longer being a stocked item and weeks special order. Not acceptable we want the color we picked in February. The start of the project begins in the last week of August, now October 1 and the project is in the sixth week with about 20% remaining and we have quality issues. Inferior workmanship, damage to brick and mortar that has not been repaired in two areas. 1/2" gaps filled with caulk, window sills replaced that are bowed. More damage to the small roof area over the bathroom tub bump-out, that was caulked to hide the damage they created. Last week Monday before the rains, two areas were exposed to the environment, the den window brick molding was rotten and opened up a hole 8" by 3/4" and the South side of the house two vertical areas 7' by 2" wide left exposed. I had to cover up the openings they created prior to the three days of heavy rain. Harvey agreed to meet me tonight to review the issues and explained they would be resolved. My issue is that I have explained the problem areas to the crew every week and no resolution. On 9/23/ I requested the caulking be completed prior to the heavy rains they said yes and no it did not occur
