My mortgage broker Brian Mcgloane @Homestedfunding selected Tek Title for our closing. In April 2020 closing went as expected. But, in July I started the process of getting a HELOC and the underwriter required a proof of lien release/recording from Tek. This is when everything went downwards. I called 4 times on 4 different days, sent multiple emails and they kept sending me the wrong documents. In a last resort I conference in the underwriter so she can talk to Beth Witt from Tek and explain exactly what was needed. Beth treated us as inferior humans. I have never felt more discriminated and insulted! Ms Witt raised her voice at us being very demeaning and rude. I politely asked why is she treating me like this and she angrily answered "I do not have time for you"! I was discriminated in the past for being an immigrant, for having an accent and a different name. But never felt this terrible before! Beth Witt and Tek Title do not deserve to work in customer service and get any business from any lenders.
