I bought a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado from select motor cars on may 23rd 2019. The day i agreed to buy vehicle i brought a bank certified check in amount for sales price, inspection, tax title. It took almost a week from that date to get my vehicle to me. I shouldve seen that as a sign, but i already made agreement. Within the first 3 and half months, my truck was back with them four, yes four times! Multiple issues, including back seat belt, oil leak, ac problems, alternator etc etc. At about 5 months after purchase, the abs system began to act up and check engine light came back on. They cleared code for check engine and told me abs isnt their problem since warranty is over. If light comes back on bring it in because right now they are too busy. At about 6 months time, the drivers side door handle broke completely off. Now at 7 months transmission starts acting up. Truck wont go in to gears so i pay to have it towed to my house. They come over, look at truck and say it's a hose and should only be about $100 to fix. He acted like he was doing me a favor and fixing it at cost. They supposedly fix it, i pay them $100 cash and drive it less than a mile home. Later that evening i drive a few miles to pick up my step daughter from practice and again transmission problems. Apparently they didnt fix it. I had to leave it in school parking lot. They came to school parking lot and told me they dont know whats wrong with it and they would come back next day and code it. Next day they call me, say it didnt throw off any code but they took it for a spin and there is definitely something wrong with transmission. So they tell me they will try to find me the cheapest price for a transmission again like they are doing ME a favor. Again i had to pay for it to be towed home.so just about 7 months in nothing but problems and the transmission goes. Mind you it was in their shop for a total of just over a month of those 7 months. $9300 for a truck that only lasted 7 months. They sold me a lemon and refuse to make it right. The good news is the second time i brought it back to be fixed, i started documenting all of these issues and what was supposedly fixed. I also began to record EVERY conversation from that point on. So i will be taking this to the better business bureau and taking legal actions. They sold me a lemon and only way to make this right is to give me my money back and take this p.o.s outta my driveway. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!
