BEWARE BEFORE HIRING THIS FIRM! PAY FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN ADVANCE. We purchased a gift certificate for my grandmother. Upon redemption, she mentioned the work was good, but incomplete. She called Matt, the owner, who stopped by to discuss. She explained her needs and asked for 2 dead bushes to be replaced as well. He agreed, promised to finish the work, replace the bushes, & never mentioned additional monies owed. Unfortunately, nobody called or came back. After 3-4 messages with no response, my mother called to see what the details were and if there was a misunderstanding since she purchased the GC in the first place. Her intention was simply to clear the situation up, which seemed pretty simple. The call started cordial, until he realized who she was. He then immediately became defensive irate & loud, demanding (without us suggesting otherwise) that he completed the work that was fair for the amount paid. He then further stated that my grandmother was “so annoying” and “has been bugging him to replace 2 bushes,” & my grandmother was a “royal pain in his a**” and that he refused to do any work for her in the future, then hanging up. He has not taken or returned calls since. We found 3 more customers complaining of incomplete, prepaid work and unprofessionalism. PROCEED WITH CAUTION!
