Sauteed clam appetizer was unedible, made with low quality clams that were fishy & sandy accompanied by a bland sauce. Salad was a tiny bread plate of wilted lettuce. For being the only customers there, our meals took forever to be prepared. My mother ordered french onion soup & eggplant rollatini which she felt were both average & commented the pasta sauce tasted as if it were spiced up out of a can. my meal, veal saltimboca, which was advertised in the menu as being topped with prosciutto came out with capicola ham on it. I am confident I know the difference between the two. I cook as a hobbey, my father was a chef & owned his own restaurant for 20 years, so I was shocked when I sent it back & the owner/cook insisted it was prosciutto. So I just ordered spaghetti & meatballs after that. The meatballs were barely warm, the sauce was very watery, and the pasta overcooked. Needless to say we will not be returning again.
