I would be extremely cautious using Gordon Keil for home construction. Gordon was the builder of our home and not only did we find many corners cut, but the largest one was the shower door installation. They blatantly missed the support beam to drill in the door to the wall, and instead of correcting the mistake, they left it only drilled into the drywall. We confronted Gordon and he said it was not his fault nor would he help to remedy the situation. In the end, his ability to manage a project, hire the right professionals, and incorporate quality controls is lacking on all accounts.

Hired to fix another contractor 's issue. Did a great job. Very responsive and completed project on time and on budget definitely recommend.

We had Keil Design and Construction repair our garage that was damaged by Hurricane Sandy. The garage looks so much better than it did even before the storm hit. The workmanship is excellent. We have an old, under built Montclair garage. They fortified the existing structure and now it looks like it will last a long time. The men doing the work were great and they finished when they said they would and the price was very reasonable. I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

Keil Design has done a fantastic job on two projects for us. They took down a rickety one story structure off our kitchen and replaced it with a new one containing a brand new powder room. The new back stairs and entrance are also great. That project was completed a few years ago. This month, they repaired and painted a picket fence that surrounds our corner property and it has never looked better. Dealing with Gordon and his staff has always been a pleasant experience and the work is top quality.
