My father was a Building Contractor in Maryland. I started early with him (I think I was about 16 at the time) working on remodeling projects and building custom homes with him. I built my first log home in 1983. Since then I have been involved in all phases of the Log Home Industry, from planning and reviews, delivery and erections to complete custom buildings. In the past I have been a guest speaker at a major log home company helping representatives understand the estimating process involved with log homes. I have also critiqued new log building profiles for a major log home company before they allowed the representatives to offer it for sale to the public. I have had many opportunities to work with log home professionals such as owners of log home companies, representatives, builders and erectors in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. Over the past 30 years we have developed systems and techniques for erecting log homes, some known only to us. Each project is unique and different, that’s what I like about this business. I have built homes for some of the leading Log Home Companies and am happy to now represent Timberhaven Log Homes as part of their representative network. I have an excellent understanding of the sales, estimating and building process involved in the log home industry and look forward to working with clients throughout the designing and building of their dream home.
