Star Communications' genealogy dates back to the 1950's when Avon Press was founded. Back then printing two colors at a time was a feat indeed. Over the years four color, six color, and aqueous coatings were added, as well as capabilities and expertise in bindery operations. In 2000 with the merger of Avon Press and Lazer Graphics, data and mailing services were added, creating a single source resource for marketing communications professionals. In 2000 with the merger of Avon Press and Lazer Graphics, data and mailing services were added, creating a single source resource for marketing communications professionals. After another consolidation in 2008 with Star Quality Printing, complete digital printing capabilities, combined with variable data printing and a cross media platform were added. Finally in 2011, to better reflect our evolution as a marketing services provider, we re-branded as Star Communications.
