Absolutely horrible! Jeannine Wescoat was the listing agent for a house we looked at and wanted to purchase. We made an offer (through our broker), it was accepted, we went through attorney review, sent in earnest $$, but all heck broke loose when the inspections came. Turned out the MLS listing has multiple outright, blatant LIES in it. Such as she stated the present owners put in new roof, new carpeting and other 'new' features. With a bit of research, we found the home also on HomePath where Fannie Mae owned the house BEFORE her sellers. It turns out that Fannie Mae did the roof, and the carpeting, and other upgrades which she stated in the listing that the present owner did. We asked proof of the roof replacement, and who her sellers hired for it (because the inspector found lots of issues and we wanted to know if it was under warranty). She replied and said 'He's getting that information now" (referring to the home owner) yet she never replied and when we went over an earlier response from the actual sellers, they outright admit that they did NOT do the roof, and it was the previous owner (Fannie Mae) did. .... I do NOT trust this woman or firm as far as I can throw them. Turns out there is also a horrible mold problem and when we approached her about it, she played the fact that the mold and radon tests took longer than the normal inspection, and tried to convince us that we HAD TO COMPLETE THE PURCHASE. And outright, blatant LIAR. Complaints will be filed with the Atlantic County Board of Realtors, AND inquiries will be made to real estate attorneys to see if we can sue her for the cost of all our inspections, her lies, and the waste of time she put us through.
