Our Story Leshay Candles is a handcrafted, luxury, lifestyle, home fragrance brand specializing in exquisite, coconut apricot wax candles. Founded in 2013 by entrepreneur/business professional, Leslie Mayes, Leshay Candles, LLC is the reflection of her love for luxury fragrances, self care, and glamorous home decor. Leslie had to leave Corporate America when her son was born disabled. Her son endured multiple surgeries over the course of several years and required 24 hour care. Our Heavenly Father kept her son safe during every surgical procedure and every surgery was successful! Leslie was so focused on taking care of her son that she neglected her own self care. After going through this, she realized how important self care was. She realized that she should never feel guilty for taking care of herself because if she didn’t take care of herself, she couldn’t take care of anyone else. Candles always helped her to relax, but the types of candles that she was burning at the time were filled with toxic ingredients and didn’t burn evenly, therefore leaving large chunks of wax on the sides of the jar after the candle had burned to the bottom. These toxin filled candles were also causing her husband to have respiratory issues. She wanted to create a luxury candle that was toxin-free, burned evenly, and environmentally friendly because it would give consumers cleaner burning, stylish, luxury scented candles that are phthalates, sulfate, paraben, and dye free. This is why Leshay Candles was created. All of our luxury candles and home fragrance products are a relaxing, luxury experience and are hand- poured in the USA.
