Our book signing ventures bring children close, where it is warming to see their enthusiasm for our books. We plan broad futures for Maypole Books with things like a coloring book to add to our children's picture books...

As a private practice licensed clinical counselor for over 20 years, I’ve also had many years of mental health counseling experience in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I’ve studied and practiced a variety of techniques: psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, mediation, relationship enhancement therapy, and others. My clinical experience includes working with individuals of all ages, groups, couples and families.
My extensive professional training, education, supervision and consultation have led me to specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, grief and relationships. I have the ability to focus on one of these issues, yet see you as a whole person with problems to be discussed.
