John Cook's hardscape expertise is unmatched in the Bal/Wash area. He has created two major gardens for us and if we still lived in MD we'd have him landscape our current home.

I DO NOT recommend this business! We spent several thousand dollars about 5 years ago having landscape work done, a brick porch put in and two brick patios put in my back. About 6 months later, several shrubs died. We called Jon Cook and were told we were put on a list to have someone come out and replace them. Six months later, and after a couple more shrubbery deaths, we called again and were told we were on a list. A year later, we called again and were told we were on a list. To this day, we have not had anyone come and replace the shrubs. So much for their "guaranty".
Now we have other problems. The brick porch has become unsettled and seems to be falling apart. We called Cook and left a message but he has not returned the call. We are now obtaining estimates from other companies to repair the work. The first estimate is for nearly $3,000. I don't think we paid that much to have it installed in the first place. I certainly expected this porch to last longer than 5 years. And now, the brick support around one of my patios is sloping and in need of repair too.
This company's guaranty is worthless and their work does not hold up.
