Yesterday, I went to this grocery shop. I was so amazed by this shop. They've got all I needed. They had fresh produce and has a wide selection of coffees and salads. I absolutely do not recommend this business especially store # 0968 I tried to buy some food with my EBT the cashier was new I guess rang up under under cash because I was trying to pull cash out and I put the wrong amount and so then she said for me to pay for the food and she had me run it through i said it’s going to be food right she said yeah when I looked at my receipt it was paid with the cash part which is what I didn’t want so she said there was nothing she could do about it that it was too late so I saw the manager and the new manager by the name of Maria was really rude and disrespectful and needs to learn and go to customer service training courses had the nerve to tell me that “oh well it’s not your money anyways it’s the governments money” how can a manager speak to a customer that way. it was their mistake not mine and even if it was mine the customer always right, satisfaction guaranteed and you have to do what the customers asking if it’s appropriate and doable. That’s how a great stores ran a great stores ran keeping your customers happy so that they come back. So she finally with attitude began the refund She told me to slide my card his EBT and then food I thought it was funny but I did it then I asked her to look at my receipt to make sure the money went back into my cash account she is sure that it did and then I looked at the receipt which showed that it did not go in my cash it was on my food when I needed it in my cash so then why did she lie to me

I live in the San Diego area and I used to go to the store at National City. Well, not anymore! * 8 out of 10 times the produce area is totally nasty and messy and dirty. Leaves of almost every legume are on the floor. Trash all over the produce area. The parking lot very trashy. Few months ago I made a complaint about this and Rudy Artiles, regional manager or something like that, asked me to report him issues like this. Last Saturday 03/01/14 I went to the store and I took a couple of pictures to send them to him. An employee came with the security guard saying they will kick me out of the store because I was taking pictures of their messy and nasty produce area. The store manager, Virginia, showed up with another guy named Kyle. We had a big discussion on the middle of the produce area. Virginia made few phone calls and she talked secretively in front of me about the issue. Very uncomfortable. Prices are good but nothing pays to have to do your grocery shopping in a nasty, messy and smelly place. I rather prefer to spend a little more money and shop at Northgate Market. Not my favorite place but is clean and organized for sure Horrible and unpleasant place to shop your, NOT fresh at all, produce. Bad experience with one employee. I live up the next block right to the Thomas Rd store, in Phoenix AZ, and as always since July 2013 enter to the store and one of the employee (so ignorant and too crude) approach to me to inquire to leave my backpack at the front end. I replied to him that by nothing and nobody I left my backpack alone (no matter what the circumstances are) because I am a panic disorder patient and I need to have it with me all my medications. He insist, and told me that are the store policies, and if no one of the employees told me that before, means that no one has being ding his/her job well enough. Well, I've just simply decided to file a lawsuit in a court and claim for my emotional damages, plus avoid any promotions of its products/stores and visiting no more. My experience??? So dirty place!!!
