I began MassageWorks in 1994 after an injury and after seeing & experiencing Steve Citty doing chair massage at a health fair in the Candy Factory in Knoxville. I soon began massage training which included the same chair massage training as taught by David Palmer. In 2002, I began studying kinesiology with Arlene Green at the US Kinesiology Institute in Chapel Hill, NC, and , in 2003, became a Touch for Health? Kinesiology Certified Instructor. In 2002, I began studying kinesiology with Arlene Green at the US Kinesiology Institute in Chapel Hill, NC, and , in 2003, became a Touch for Health? Kinesiology Certified Instructor. Continued studies included the Professional Kinesiology Program which led to my becoming a Certified K-Power? Instructor in 2008. In 2006, I did a 200-hour intensive at the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, CA. My bodywork is a muscle/meridian balancing approach incorporating kinesiology with Asian & Western bodywork.
