Old school 1950's machine shop. Old school way of making a few workers into the donkey, and working them to death. Old school way of valueing one worker over another. Old school Racism. Poor management skills. The manager sits at his desk all day, mostly with the lights off. Staring at a computer screen, randomly calling workers into vent his frustrations on. Complaints come in and the Secretaries on the emails explain why their company is considering going with another supplier, as the manager explains to a senior employee how best to cover up the mistake to keep they're business. Considering Sidley Diamond Garden city  Michigan... If so.. enjoy this Fossil while it lasts, it's ways of doing business are highly ineffective and out dated. Some days we machined parts all the way to specification. Some others we came close. Sometimes cost or production value got in the way of workers applying the required amount of diamond to plating. Order contracts came and went, on account of consistency of quality. Also dangerous work practices and faulty electrical and ventilation in plating area, hazardous to breathing conditions
