Evaluation and corrective shoeing for lameness and/or conformation with or without veterinary assistance. Consultation w/ owner, vet & other farriers. I am semi-retired (due to my back) but still consult and work on horses with lameness issues including laminitis, founder, navicular syndrome, cracked hooves, traveling problems, etc. I can make any shoe or pad combination required and am certified at the Journeyman level by the American Farrier's Association. With over 20 years of experience and a network of other farriers and veterinarians for consultation I can at least help solve most problems or refer you to someone who can. If you are near Northwestern Illinois or passing through and would like to see me please call for an appointment. Depending on my schedule I available Monday-Saturday after 10AM and before 7PM.
