Budoaki South is a reprieve for the aspiring martial artist! In modern times, one can feel inundated with sales pitches and "contracts" when looking for a dojo to study at. There are no such things at Budokai South. Start with simply looking at the school's website. There is a plethora of information regarding: the school's lineage, informative articles by the school's chief instructor (Sensei Barry), and curriculum available to the students. The instructors care about developing you towards your maximum potential. Since the teachers have extensive martial arts experience, they can relate to your position no matter what your skill level. Attention to detail is just one of the many characteristics that separates Budokai South from other modern schools as well. Also, the students make class enjoyable and worth coming to.

I never thought I would find a martial arts school in the area that is this authentic. Sensei Barry and his instructors are completely dedicated to perfecting self-defense through the arts of Jujitsu and Aiki-jujitsu. They provide the perfect balance of a fun learning environment and a traditional martial arts school.
