Construction Co., Inc. began in 1948 and was incorporated in 1949 by Norman W Wham Sr. The company began as a clearing operation and grew into a major Road Construction contractor working in the Southeast. Wham operated an Asphalt plant and a concrete plant in the upstate of South Carolina which were sold in the lat 60's. As a General Contractor, Wham built most of the roads in Anderson County.
