Music Country

Music Country is the oldest record store in the United States owned by the same family at its original location in Cliffside Park, NJ. The store was established in 1934 by Anthony Taliaferro and originally named Taliaferro Music. His daughter, Joan Demarest re-named the store in the 1980's. Joan and her husband, Bill Demarest currently own and operate the store. It is one of the few vinyl record stores left in New Jersey.
