I have concerns about the honesty and integrity of this company that I have decided to share, especially after they withheld $180 from my deposit. Let me start off by saying, I have never written a 1 star review for anywhere I've ever lived and I have NEVER not received my entire deposit from a landlord/rental company. I have a reputation for the cleanliness and decor of my apartments. I had some concerns initially, during my 6 month stay in my apartment, and I feel anyone considering a move here should know the following information. The "agent" of this company is the son of one of the owners, so I'm sure there will be no repercussions for his actions. When entering my apartment on 2 different occasions for maintenance issues, he recorded videos of my apartment for TikTok "advertising". I thought it was weird and several of my friends thought it was extremely creepy. Not only that, I was expecting a package from FedEx one day, but I got home and it wasn't in my mailbox or at my front door. Of course, my first instinct was that it was stolen, so I called FedEx to report a missing package. In the meantime, I also texted Albert the "agent" to find out he actually put the package inside my apartment. He never called or texted me to notify me of this "courtesy." Again, slightly weird. The rental company will deduct the following from your deposit: $75 to steam clean the carpets, $35 to clean your bathroom, even if its already immaculate, $20 to replace $10 stove burner pans-they will even have pictures of stove tops that don't belong to you, and $20 to clean up minor crumbs under your fridge and stove. Oh, and make sure your windows and screens are spotless, or they will charge you $30 to clean those. I learned my lesson on this one. I should have DEMANDED a walk through with them and taken my own pictures, especially since I began to question the honesty of Albert Claudio, III- who refers to himself as the "pretty face" of Aldom Rentals, LLC. Be wary of renting from these guys--they just want your money and their good tenants mean nothing to them.
