I met Dave through the classic car hobby. I’d heard of him by reputation and friended him on Facebook. He commented on posts and can across as knowledgeable and informed. He was courteous and was always positive. I reached out and asked him questions and he proved to be great resource. Fast forward a couple months and I met up with him and his team at the Fall Hershey AACA meet. Spending time in his company I got to know him and see how he interacted with other people in the car hobby, dozens of car owners, from all walks of life stopped by to meet and greet. He had a smile and story for everyone. I ended up flying to see his restoration shop (Mitchell Motorcars) in person a few months later. I was totally impressed with his work, employees and his facilities. His reputation as one of the premiere classic auto restorers in the country is well deserved. Since then I’ve done several project with him and look forward to doing more in the future.
