New Beginnings Fellowship 45 Home Pl Hamden or Dunbar Hill Firehouse. "pastor" Tom Vergato is more interested in what is collected in the basket each week and then can be seen in every single gas station in the entire town of Hamden come Sunday after "church" gets out and as many more days as he can, depending on whether or not he wins, excessively buying scratch off tickets or playing Keno for hours and hours rather than living and practicing what he preaches. From my first introduction to this so called pastor I instinctively knew he was great at memorizing the Bible and realized there was nothing more to this man. These speculations and apprehensions were solidified and reinforced as I personally witnessed his character more times than I could count when he's not "at the pulpit" and when he's not "collecting the envelopes". I've seen him in his daily life. I've seen him with his friends and family. I've seen him on holidays. I've seen him at parties. (I've never seen him at a job though, as he lives off of family), I've seen him cast stones. I've seen him speak ill of others. I've seen him gossip, lie and fabricate the truth. I've seen him incite and encourage negativity rather than defuse situations. And I HAVE NEVER HEARD HIM PREACH ANY OF GOD'S TEACHINGS OUTSIDE OF HIS 1 HOUR "MASS" ON SUNDAYS. He's a farce, a fake and a joke! Read your Bible, say your prayers, follow your heart and find yourself a loving, reputable, honest, moral and legitimate place to worship and honor OUR AMAZING LORD JESUS CHRIST.
