I am copying an individual from your San Diego facility who has been involved in the matter as it is only fair that she knows about my email to you. I urge you to take seriously what I lay out below and the steps I plan to follow if I am not satisfied with how Mephisto handles my complaint. I will be very succinct and will explain the reasoning below: --In response to an online ad to have Mephisto shoes refurbished I sent my shoes to Mephisto towards the end of January, 2019. They were received by your company on March 23rd. They were returned to me on April 25th. That is three months. --During this period I made over 20 calls (amongst whom was Olga, presumably a manager) regarding the status of the shoes and exchanged a few emails with the above individual. I could not track the shipment to San Diego as your site didn’t enable it (I am in high tech). I was told that the repair work would be rushed and that I would not be charged as Mephisto assumed responsibility for the poor service. --Your people consistently made promises and didn’t follow through. Is it a rush job when in fact it was at your facility for over 30 days? I was totally angered by your agents and by their inability to be helpful. I had to stop here because of character limits

Don't buy these EXPEN$IVE shoes, they caused my feet to break out and they are not honoring their return policy... And I have to see a Dr!

I am rather disappointed the way you distanced yourself from an issue concerning your own product. As far as I understand there is a quality control issue with the material used in some of your products and as a consequence, in such products, the sole develops fissures and fall apart even when the shoes are not worn. For e.g. the product in this case, a pair of Air-Jets was hardly worn 4 to 5 times in a span of 2 to 3 years. You may take note from the pictures I sent you that, apart from the soles self deterioration, the remaining shoes is in impeccable shape. I have many Mephisto shoes, much older and more often used in good shape. So there is a quality issue only with the sole of certain model, which needs thorough investigation, if you were to maintain your position as the best shoemaker in the world ! period ! It is a bad idea to pass the responsibility of a manufacturing issue to your retailers or franchise. Today, I visited your MCS shop in Frankfurt and bought 2 more pairs of shoes. I also showed the defective Air-Jet shoes and requested for a solution. My impression was that, they were nice simple folks, however, not trained or authorised to handle quality issues like in my case. Obviously their job wasonly to sell and collect monies ! They also told me that Mephisto shoes carry a warranty of only one year. I was not explained the terms of the warranty.
