In 1996 the Kane family started the Lake City Brewing Company at the Great Adirondack Steak & Seafood Restaurant in Plattsburgh, NY. In 1997 the brewery was moved to our main restaurant in Lake Placid and the Great Adirondack Brewing Company was born. Our 7 barrel stainless-steel brew system was custom manufactured for us by JV Northwest, Inc. in Oregon and is now housed in a separate building directly behind the restaurant. We have a great romantic dining atmosphere to watch the strollers pass by on Main street, watch snow fall and Christmas lights in the park, or bring your entire family or meeting into our private dining room for a "Family Style" meal custom made for you.
