Butler Farms is a contract swine finish operation under contract with PRESTAGE FARM in Clinton, NC. We keep approximately 7500 hog on the farm.

We are environmental stewards and we take the utmost care in handling our swine waste. We recycle our waste and use the methane produced from our swine waste to produce renewable/green energy through a bio gas generator. We produce enough electricity with our waste to provide 25 or more average home with their electricity needs. We use the ammonia/nitrogen in our waste as a fertilizer to grow coastal Bermuda hay. We have facilities to bring in off farm food waste to produce electricity at our farm and we are currently pursuing that goal that requires a DENR Permit. Visitors are welcome to our farm by appointment.
