I slid off the road during a snowstorm and got stuck. Clyde's Towing in Ponderay, ID, was called by OnStar via 911. Clyde's Towing dispatched Kyle in #7 and he lifted my new $80,000 truck by the tow hook. The tow hook is designed to tow the truck not to lift the truck. This lift broke the grill on my truck and severely bent the tow hook and its connection to the truck frame. The dealer has given me an estimate of $950 for repairs. I submitted the estimate for repair when I paid the $225 for the tow. Now dishonorable, unethical, moron Joe at Clyde's want to play games and blame this damage on my slipping off the road. Joe doesn't want to pay for the damage his guys did to my truck. Now I will be required to submit a claim to my insurance, pay my deductable and wait for my insurance to bring Clyde's to arbitration to get them to pay for the damage they caused to my vehicle. YOU DO NOT WANT TO USE CLYDE'S TOWING UNLESS YOU LIKE THE IDEA OF THEM CAUSING SERIOUS DAMAGE TO YOUR VEHICLE! And then playing games with your vehicles and your money. Clearly the damage to my vehicle was caused by Clyde's towing!
