My experience with Mark Flick- the owner of Siding on the Side-was nothing short of a nightmare. First off- It has been over two and a half months since my account has been paid in full and my siding is not completed. Not only that but Mark himself showed up in the middle of the night and STOLE supplies I paid for(and returned them for credit on his account). He lied to the supply company stating I was out of town and had okayed the transaction. I DID NOT. I needed it to finish the job he started and abandoned. I filed a police report and fired him. He hadn't been to the job site for over two weeks anyway so I assumed he had quit but it made me feel good to say "you're fired Mark". Second- Quality of work. I hired Mark to remove and replace all windows on two houses along with siding. He hired a "friend" by the name of Kelly. Kelly not only installed many of the windows crooked, but was belligerent and abusive to both myself and my fiancé. Along with the windows, I have multiple walls of siding that aren't even close to level, Mark did those himself and I am very dissatisfied. Third- Unprofessional crew. Mark had his 17 year old daughter working with him, along with his elderly father(actually the dad was awesome but only came a few times), and a few other guys who could barely make it to work by noon. They literally worked less than a few hours a day, less than a few days a week. It was like pulling teeth to get anyone to show up. Ran out of room!
