Stay away from this guy. He is one of the most dishonest electricians in Manchester. I know someone that had Artie inspect their house and he replaced heaters that were in perfect working order. Just because he claimed the thermostats were defective and the heaters would fail soon. LOL, what is he psychic? The heaters that we're talking about are about 40 years old and they haven't been used in over 25 years and the owners that owned the house before the current owners didn't use the heaters the last 10 years that they lived there. For 40 year old heaters they've hardly been used at all and they're in the best shape that a 40 year old heater could be in, there was nothing wrong with them. All heaters working and functioning except two in the main rooms where the family has a pellet stove. The thermostats were physically disconnected 25 years ago that's why they didn't work and I'm sure he saw that when he replaced the thermostats but it just shows how dishonest the guy is. He is not looking out for the customer he's looking out for his own sales and up selling work that isn't necessary. #1 his rate is outrageous $90 for his services $60 for his assistant. He also charges parts and materials at cost plus a 30% mark up! I can have electrical work done at my house by a trusted electrician who's been in the business for 30 years and he only charges $55 an hour and does all the work himself, and he won't up sell unnecessary work or recommend you replace items that are functioning. He also charges parts and materials at cost with only a 15% mark up. You can get electrical work done at a third of the cost if you just look around. #2 this guy claims that you have to have work done to meet building code when it's not required, older homes are grandfathered and don't have to meet the building codes to today's standards, but he lies to you and tells you that it's required once again so that he gets sales. Stay far away from this overcharging, dishonest crook!
