Went to a show there. Notice the owner was hanging around with a lot of young boys, and they appeared to be drinking alcohol. Serving underage kids alcohol is not cool, much less illegal!

The Brooklyn Arts Center was suppose to be a welcome addition to the area. And perhaps it is fine for daytime use. But night concerts that bother local neighborhoods, drinking, drug use, fights and yes even gun shots have rung out through the night at this establishment. The police are called to this heavy crime area. Please do yourself a favor and stay away, it might save your life.

This company runs the Brooklyn Arts Center. They do special events and concerts, They also serve alcohol and have had numerous fights breakout as well as gunfire. There is widespread illegal drug use in the area, including hypodermic syringes and needles on the ground. I would say this is a place to avoid.
