BEWARE!! UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU USE ADVANCED CONCRETE DESIGNS. We had him pour our back porch during the construction of our house. Absolute worst concrete job I've ever seen. It is so bad that other people came to the house and jokingly asked if my kids had poured it (they are 8 and 9 years old). We had several meetings with Tom, the owner, prior to pouring, and it was still formed wrong. There are trowel marks across the entire porch. The steps are uneven and botched. Upon seeing it, my husband immediately called Tom and arranged a meeting for the next morning to see what he would be willing to do to rectify the situation, which really the only solution was to tear it out and re-pour it. He said he couldn't do any better of a job if he re-poured it. He also proceeded to tell my husband that if anyone else had poured it then they would have charged a lot more than what he was charging. My husband told him that it wasn't about the money and that he bid the job, not us, and that we just want it done right. Tom then went whacko and asked my husband if he thought he was better than him because he had more money than him. It was bizarre. It all went downhill after that and my husband had to tell him several times to get off our property. A few days later we received a bill from Tom, which we did not pay, since we are going to have to tear it out and pay to have someone else re-pour it. We paid for the concrete directly ourselves so the bill was just for his labor. A week later he filed a lien against us. You can probably pick anyone else other than Advanced Concrete Designs to do your concrete and they will do a better job and you won't have to deal with whacky and bizarre behavior. If I could give zero stars then I would.
