Great Pacific Exterminator is the best in the business. The owner Michael Terlouw is by far the most knowledgeable in his field. I had 2 inspections done by this company and their honesty and professionalism is superior to other companies that will gauge you and take advantage of someone who doesn't know what an inspection entails. I would highely recommend this company and doubt anyone has the knowledge and experience Mike Terlouw has. If someone has a problem with their service trust me it's because the individual would not be happy with anyone because Mike will make sure his work is completely up to only the highest standard and some people you'll never satisfy. 5 stars for this company and Michael Terlouw is outstanding. This company did a termite and pest inspection on 3/27/20 in Merced on a house I eventually purchased. Great Pacific Exterminator missed significant termite damage and failed to report prior termite treatment done to the property. Mike or Michael did not disclose that there was over 15 termite bait stations and 7 prior drill locations for termite treatment in his report. He also failed to notice a damaged exposed support post and cross beam that needed significant repair. When the termite damage and prior treatment was discovered by me, he told me it was unethical for him to put that in a pest report, which made absolutely not sense to me at all. However, he did put the prior termite treatment and termite damage in his second report dated 3/12/21. Why was it ethical to put this information in the second report (after the house was purchased and damage needed to be repaired) but not the first report? I never received an answer on this. On May 11th, I sent this company a demand letter for payment for repairs only to get silence in return. They made zero attempt to call me or to set things right. They simply ignored me hoping I would go away. I am now in the process of taking this company to small claims court. I highly recommend you go with a different Pest Company for you inspection needs. If you are purchasing a new home and this company already did an inspection on the property I would get a different pest company to do the inspection since this company missed so much on my home.
