Operated since 1961 in the eastern Burke County town of Valdese NC, WSVM is now under the ownership of radio broadcasting veteran Bert Lindsay. Beginning in radio in 1984, Bert left broadcasting in the fall of 2000, but re-entered the industry as a part-time morning man in May of 2011.
