I lived in the same building as the real estate company owner and agent (Risa Morley) and had considered but decided not to give them my apartment listing because 1) they don’t have a good understanding of competitive pricing in the area and routinely overprice apartments and 2) they don’t have the marketing tools or outreach capabilities that other companies do. When I informed them I wouldn’t be using their services, Risa tried to pressure me and claimed I was violating an agreement I’d previously signed and told me I had to give them a cut of the sale. The agreement had clearly expired and I pushed back on their claim - they backed off but no apology. Very unethical.
