I hired WF McCain because I needed a site plan and flood calculations for a tiki hut. I hired him in August of 2020. Had to sign a 7 page contract with pricing and payment requirements etc the dragged his feet month after month while sending me an invoice for payment even though he had yet to produce anything I could use. Month after month more invoices but no site plan with calculations. After several months he produced a site plan that was immediately rejected by the village of Islamorada. More months go by it's now 2021 and he is still dragging his feet while sending out invoices like a champ. Finally in May I had a meeting scheduled with the village and told him I had to have the final plans finished and sent to me. He sent me another invoice and said I need to pay this and He would send me the finished plan. I did and took it to the meeting and they immediately rejected it stating it was incomplete and the calculations were not finished. I had paid him over $5000 for nothing I could use. I told him I was done with him and hired another engineer to help me. Within 2 weeks the new engineer told me the tiki hut would not be allowed to remain due to flood calculations that are in effect in Islamorada..I'm in the process of removing the tiki hut. Bill McCain has sent me Another invoice for $2000 which I am refusing to pay and now he has hired a bill collector to go after me. His name is Bill and that's the only thing he does that's good.. he will bill you to death. STAY AWAY FROM WF MCCAIN.
