The house that we purchased had an automated gate, intercom system, and garage door installed by Bohnenstiehl years ago. When I called with questions about the gate and wanting to install a new intercom system, the lady who answered the phone said she would call me back in 30 minutes. After 1 hour, she did not return my phone call so I called her back. She made it seem like they didn't want to come out and kept telling me how it would be expensive for the owner to come out and give me an estimate. After getting tired of hearing how expensive it would be, I asked how much. She said that it would be $175-200 to come out and then he would give me an estimate of the new intercom system. I wouldn't mind paying the service fee if I didn't feel like I was having to BEG them to come out. I should not have to beg you to come to my house so I can pay you thousands of dollars for a new intercom system. I am not angry about the price as much as I am about being told over and over again to call someone else in my area.
