the father was trained in germany starting in grade school. this is how it has been in germany for hundreds of years. the father trained the son. they are two of the finest mechanics i know. they are both good men. and, they are honest. try finding two men who are mechanics today, and, who are decent and honest, and you will never find them! they love foreign cars, because of their background with volkswagens, but, they know how to work on just about anything that rolls!
