In 1955 50-50 Muffler opened in San Francisco, California. A few years later the shop moved a few miles south to Burlingame, where the shop formed its close ties with the racing community. Garletts, Shelby, & others of the era were no strangers to 50-50 Muffler. In 1982 the shop moved to its current location in San Carlos, on the central peninsula where it continues to lead the industry.
