Do NOT buy a Cal-Am home, or live in a Cal-Am property! We did, and regret it! The home itself turned out to be cheap feeling. Bad build quality, and cheaper materials. The after sales service was nonexistent. The management at the Cal-Am property we unfortunately live at, Rose Garden in Surprise, Arizona, is horrible. Cal-Am Properties has twenty bad reviews on the BBB website! Stay away! This company is bad news!

Montessa in Arizona is run by people who have no clue as to how to get along with senior citizens. STAY AWAY

NOT a recommendation! It saddens me to say that Cal-Am properties are ran differently at every park they own..Specially here in Arizona..although the are to be ran under certian principles their management teams makes up their own set of rules.* quoted by two different parks* I SPEAK TRUTH WITH THE REGARDS TO LONG HAVEN ESTATES PHOENIX AZ..there has been more management bullying towards the residents, management turn over is high there, and with new management brings more trouble and bullying, they offer some amenities but NOTHING compared to ones located in a richer neighborhood. The residents own the trailers but have no say to what goes on in their home as to guests and visitors, some are allowed to change the outside appearance some are told NO!! Management wants the rock yards changed out and the residents have to pay for it on a fixed income? And you charge this lifestyle fee? Be real you charge them for space rent! And the fact that these seniors are on fixed incomes and everytime they get a little more money from social security you take it away by raising their Lifestyle fees...Never have I seen more exploitation of our seniors then at Long Haven Estates. Ive been dealing with this park for 15 years its sad to see them leaving because of the wrong being done to them. Not able to sell they are leaving their homes, Cal-Am takes ownership sells them the they want and profits from it..
