We provided classroom instruction and field trips to underserved students from San Francisco Public Schools. We also offer Sat. programs for public. SFNE is a 501c3 non profit organization. SFNE provides environmental education and field trips for underserved SFUSD schools. We use local birds as the entrypoint for introducing stewardship and conservation. SFNE has developed a Youth Investment/Stewardship/ Leadership Intern program for middle and high school students from SF. The interns are trained in interpretive skills, local birds and stewardship and then conduct public tours at two of our Sat. Programs-Heron Watch and Heron's Head Park. We depend on individual and corporate donors as well as funding from foundations to support our organization and our school and Saturday programs. All donations are tax-deductible.
