This is the last of the last places to get Buttermilk Drops. McKenzie's Bakery had these and my mother RIP would buy at least 2 dozen. They also have the best King Cakes ever! MMMMMMMM talk about goodness! The only thing is they don't ship and I have to ask someone to bring me some all the way to TEXAS! I wish they would consider opening a store in TEXAS.

I went to this tastee donuts and restaurant it was the worst food and customer service i have ever experienced they cooked some old overcooked fries with new onion rings in old oil along with the catfish silders this to me unreal that you serve food in this manner. This bad service continue thru the whole order $50.00 worth of food which four orders made this way. The biggest problem came when i returned from my car after tasting this nasty food to ask for a refund they you are suppose to check order before you leave. I did check my orderd but can tell how it taste until you eat some. Ask for a manager and there is mgr here so asked who was incharge and got no reply some cook comes out to the front and i tell him the problem with the food and he also no refunds on the food and admitted that food was over cooked, and reply if you knew how you gave me the food then this refund policy is now null and void . I stated once again that i need to talk with manager the counter person goes the back of the store saying she is calling a mgr at home 5mins later police show up and my brother and I were surprised by this type of treatment from a restaurant. I am from new york and was in kenner La. for my grandmother funeral and by with family. My brother and I are educated black men and know how to conduct ourselves in public this was embarassing for us to be standing outside the tastee being by guestioned police about $50.00 refund .I asked the officer was I being arrested
