Plan and manage college financial aid application process for families with college bound, or attending students. Work with families to maximize their eligibility for financial aid by: 1. Analyzing the families financial condition with regard to income and assets to determine the Expected Family Contribution as viewed by the Federal government and the college, 2. Completing all financial aid forms required by the college, e.g., the FAFSA, CSS Profile, unique college financial aid applications, Verification Worksheet, and any special requests by the college, 3. If the financial aid award does not measure up to expectation, drafting appeal letters to the college that will initiate re-evaluation by the Financial Aid Office most often leading to an increase in the award.
