More than 150 years ago, NYCB was established to meet the financial needs of those who lived and worked in New York City's Queens County. Since then, NYCB has become part of the local landscape-not just in its original location, but in hundreds of communities throughout five states. As a community bank committed to being a good corporate neighbor, NYCB not only demonstrates its commitment by engaging in sound and ethical business practices, but also by giving back in various ways. In addition to sponsoring special events and financial literacy programs, we contribute funds, volunteer time, and engage in community outreach-all to the betterment of the communities we serve. By partnering with the people, businesses, and organizations that make each community special.
